Fractional product and strategy services for climate tech and impact-driven companies

Fractional Product & Strategy Services

Who I Work With

I partner with climate tech and impact-driven B2B companies (typically Seed to Series B) who need senior strategic support but aren't ready for a full-time hire. I work best with founder-led teams navigating product-market fit, customer development, or preparing for their next funding round.

What I Bring

I've been a venture co-founder (Habitats.ai), worked with portfolio companies at Mach49, and built customer experience programs at Sunrun. Before moving into CX, I was selling solar systems and dealing with the same frustrations my customers had - which taught me a lot about what actually matters to users versus what we think matters.

Some concrete outcomes from past work:

  • Helped four companies secure $1.5mm+ seed funding at Mach49
  • 200+ customer & expert interviews across industries from nanomedicine to conservation tech
  • 16-point NPS improvement and 10% retention increase at Sunrun, affecting 100,000+ customers annually
  • Secured pilot programs in major conservation areas
  • Built relationships across startup ecosystems in SF, Boston, NYC, and internationally

MA in Design Research from Carnegie Mellon. Comfortable working across strategy, research, and technical implementation. Recently recognized as 2025 Cleantech Open "Rookie Mentor of the Year."

How I Can Help

I typically work with 2-3 companies at a time. My sweet spot is helping technical founders translate their vision into something customers understand and investors can get behind.

1. Customer Development & Product Strategy

I've conducted hundreds of customer interviews across different industries from nanomedicine to conservation tech. I can help you figure out who you're actually building for, validate (or invalidate) assumptions, and translate what you learn into product decisions and technical requirements.

What you'd get: Research synthesis, customer journey maps, product roadmap input, interview guides

2. Fundraising & Investor Positioning

I've worked with founders preparing for fundraising and helped facilitate introductions across startup ecosystems in SF, Boston, and NYC. I can help you develop your pitch, prep for investor conversations, and think through your fundraising strategy.

What you'd get: Pitch deck development, pitch coaching, strategic introductions where relevant

3. Go-to-Market & Sales Enablement

Before I was doing CX work, I was a top sales rep at Sunrun dealing with all the issues my customers faced. I was told, "If you don't like it, do something about it." So I did, and became a founding member of the Customer Experience team. From entering the Florida leasing market to changing sales culture for thousands of inside & outside sales reps, I know what it means to build a solid GTM foundation and how to scale up nationally.

What you'd get: Sales playbooks & assets, training programs, customer onboarding design, conversion optimization recommendations

4. Early-Stage UX & Product Development

I can help bridge the gap between customer needs and technical execution, whether that's rapid prototyping or thinking through enterprise-scale implementation.

What you'd get: UX strategy, wireframes and prototypes, user testing, technical requirement documentation
