This project challenged me and my teammates, Sian Sheu and Yi Shang to develop an app to support the birth control selection process. Our research revealed that there was an opportunity for a new role in the journey—a compassionate and empathetic conversational AI, or chatbot, to handle some of the sensitive questions patients might not want to ask face-to-face.
